On June 12, 2004, Ben Strong’s earthly mission, at age 14, had been completed. He has gone on Home, to live in heaven with his Everlasting Father. Cal, Sara, & Connor Strong started B Strong Ministries to share their faith in Jesus Christ and the peace that He has given them in walking out the death of their son.

Ben was killed in a collision less than ¼ of a mile from their home involving a pickup- trailer and three-wheeler. Since it happened so close to their home, Cal and Sara were the first to arrive at the scene. As Cal lifted his broken son’s body up and asked God “Why?” He sensed God asking, "Why not? He is my son too." From that point on, Cal and Sara both sensed a peace that passes all understanding and a power from the Holy Spirit to boldly share their faith and trust in God.

As difficult and heartbreaking as the loss of enjoying life with Ben is, right now, they trust they will get to spend eternity with him. They do not pretend to know the mind of God and all the reasons he allowed Ben to die, but consider it His Mercy, in showing them countless hearts that have been softened and surrendered to Jesus Christ as a result of Ben’s death.

Ben Strong had trusted in Jesus Christ as his personal savior and he believed his sin had been paid for on the cross. Because Ben received a love from the Father he put that love into action by the way he lived a life of loving others.
